An Intersection of Muralists

Each mural artist painted in a 8' x 12' space of an interior gallery wall at Gallery D in Barrio Logan. Artists are reflecting on the neighborhood of Barrio Logan, having many historically valuable murals painted during the Chicano movement in the late 1960s/70s and beyond, which is marked physically by adjacent Chicano Park. Today, the mural and street art movement is experiencing a resurgence as the Barrio Logan neighborhood has gathered increased interest from development as well as burgeoning arts groups.
